It is not every day that we celebrate two decades, especially when it comes to being a privately owned company. However, at Najual we consider ourselves to be more like a big little family. Our Translation agency was born in Madrid in 2002 to offer a first-class Translation and Interpreting service. 20 years later, we are proud to be moving forward into the future with our clients, who are our priority. We will celebrate this very special anniversary with multiple updates in our service portfolio.

We look back

This is the year 2002, Natalia, a young Argentinian/Spanish interpreter, provides interpreting services to a number of renown law firms in Miami-Dade, Florida. She then makes one of the most important decisions of her life: to park her promising career in the USA to make a dream come true.

Later that year, she moves back to Madrid, Spain to open the doors of her new company. Najual Traductores & Intérpretes is born. Just 1 year later, the agency translates 450,000 words in the fields of chemistry, medicine and mechanics in multiple language combinations (English-Spanish, French-Spanish and German-Spanish), thereby becoming a regular supplier to leading industrial property law firms in Spain, whom have remained loyal clients 20 years later.

Other milestones in the long career of Najual

Thanks to the trust of our clients, Najual Traductores & Intérpretes starts working with several reference companies in Spain in the transport engineering industry. Therefore, it embarks on large projects involving simple and sworn translation for railways, airports, ports and roads.

In 2005, based on a collaboration with a Spanish company that is a world pioneer in the manufacture of porcelain figures, Najual translates into more than 10 languages for various points of sale all over the world.

2009 becomes another benchmark year, since our Translation and Interpreting agency is chosen by 10 companies, members of the Spanish-Saudi consortium “Al Shoula Group”, to translate large volumes of documentation for the international public tender of the high-speed railway line project in Saudi Arabia “Haramain Highspeed Railway – Meca – Medina Line (Saudi Arabia)”.

Since 2003, Najual is a regular supplier to INECO, S.A., a benchmark company in transport engineering and consultancy. This collaboration was strengthened in 2014 when the company put the services out to tender and Najual was awarded the contract for its translation projects (simple and sworn) in the Spanish-English and English-Spanish language combinations.

In 2016, our Spanish Translation and Interpreting agency reaches a collaboration agreement with another national leader in the industrial property industry. As a result, 5 million words are translated in the fields of chemistry, medicine, mechanics and telecommunications in the following language combinations: English-Spanish, French-Spanish and German-Spanish.

In 2019, Najual is certified by the international quality standards UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015 and UNE-EN ISO 17100-2015.

Najual continues an unstoppable career. In 2020, it reaches 12 million translated words in the field of patents. This very same year, Najual signs a collaboration agreement with the American Chamber of Commerce in Spain and becomes its official interpreting services supplier.

Working as enthusiastically as the first day

As we come to the present day, years go by but we still work with the same enthusiasm, rigour and dedication as we did on that first day. To this end, we rely on the best professional translators and interpreters in the industry.

We cannot fail to mention our clients. Providing them with the best service has been our priority for the last 20 years. Without them, none of this would have been possible. Without their trust, Najual would have remained an unfulfilled dream. But, thanks to you, that dream came true and remains alive and thriving two decades later.
